Portugal Unboxed is an independent, English-language magazine about Portugal — its culture, places, food and wine, and the events worth crossing the country for. We write for curious travellers, new residents and anyone who loves the place and wants to understand it a little better.

We are independent. We visit, call and check before we publish, we credit our sources and photographers, and we correct mistakes openly. No one pays for coverage; if anything is ever sponsored or carries affiliate links, it is labelled on the page.
